However, in getting behind on my processing, I missed posting the best of Week Three.
I have been generally unable to focus on picture taking these days when the sun is still up in the sky. So most of my photos are being taken in mirrors or close up with flashes on. I normally like to use natural light, but this circumstance of busy making has actually allowed me to play with flash, light, and mirrors. I have been having fun with it. For those of you following my (sadly neglected) Flickr stream for this project you might notice that I am enjoying my washed out face with an intense close flash. This photo for Week Three was taken at night with a minimal flash in the mirror right outside my bedroom door.
There is something deep for me in this photo. It took me a long time to name this photo, to find the right word for how it makes me feel to see this expression on my own face.
